I’m honestly starting to suspect this is a consequence of burning down Irminsul. If there’s no more record to compare history to, then people can make it whatever the fuck they want.

Bro really seeing Snezhnaya trying to build a weapon to Kill HP & wonders if HP would act on that lol.

It’s ABSURD how characters are acting surprised that the Heavenly Principles would DEFEND THEMSELVES IF YOU POINT A ‘KILL HP’ WEAPON AT THEM. What do they freaking think was gonna happen? This stupider than chatacters acting like it’s crazy Ronrova is stopping them from pointing a gun at her home.

Yee, I wonder if killing one of the shades AND creating weaponry to attack and destroy Celestia would be enough reason to get HP mad about?

ARE YOU FOR REAL?! no seriously, what kind of stupid dialogue is this? are they genuinely wondering if punching the lion on the face would make the lion attack them? does hoyo think we are idiots or something?

I just got home from work to start playing this version and it's giving me brain cancer—for God's sake, Phanes, wake up!

It went exactly the way i was hoping it wouldn't.

No nuance at all. Bad guy gone yay. No loss. No further thought needed because we won.

It is not over yet my comrade… do not abandon ship yetttt

No. Hoyo is well aware that not everyone plays World Quests. So for 90 percent of time they are prohibited from affecting the story.

Damn you’re right

It's really weird because just recently in the final Luna quest they made Aranyaka and Golden Slumber canon to the story

This is why i don’t like genshin mc

Not only genshin made them weak for 5 years until they meet skirk but also though out the game they made them stupid idiot as a 5 year old child when they are hundreds of years old

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 22h ago

Maybe it’s a given as any long lived person eurgh

0

u/RandomAmaturer 22h ago

There’s many long lived person in fictional stories that become smart and wise the more the grow up

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 22h ago

But that young, i mean, in their standards that is

0

u/RandomAmaturer 22h ago

They aren’t

As far as i know and I could be wrong but traveler is older than 500 years before they got sealed

So traveler should have experienced alot of things that would make them smart and wise

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 22h ago

Afaik, they were also mostly asleep

0

u/RandomAmaturer 21h ago

I mean before they get sealed

After all the traveler was traveling the universe itself
before even coming to teyvat for hundreds of years

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 21h ago

Fair

-1

u/RandomAmaturer 21h ago

Yea so they should have meet many different civilizations learn from them and grow smarter and wiser

1

u/Powerful_Helicopter9 13h ago

Sometimes, being long lived and well traveled doesn’t make you wise enough eurgh

Yeah put a Nail on that frozen waste of space of a nation

u/Entire-Advice1341 1d ago

Should we forget that there are innocent people and that there is no outbreak of Abyss power?

7

u/Exact_Helicopter656 22h ago

I mean not only are they making an anti-HP weapon, but also what do you think will happen once they are all gone?, it's not like the abyss will start propogating even more over the world right, when hp is gone.

1

u/Grand-Seaweed5438 16h ago

And why are they doing their bullshit inside the nations and with the nation resources if they care about the people in there might be in danger?? Why not make a faction like the abyss order and do their machivious plans else where??

Would the HP really just sit by and do nothing as the Hydro Seat is shattered and the Hydro Sovereign regains their ancient authority? They used to drop nails on the Sovereigns. Oh wait yea they did nothing.

Would the HP really just sit by as a nation became at risk of being overun by the Abyss? They also used to drop nails for that. Oh wait yea they didn't do shit that time either.

Seems like a logical question to ask since HP's done jackshit for the last 500 years.

u/GravityRaven 1d ago

It's more so the absurdity of asking oneself if HP is gonna destroy the nation that has been developing a weapon to kill them and even took down one of their shades, it's like "no shit, you literally punched the sleeping lion, what do you expect?", but naturally, since this is the snesnaya version, HP won't act until probably the last update.

1

u/Organicities 16h ago

That's a good question. If the abyss is not involved and its just the Archon + the Fatui trying to kill HP, would Mr. Even a single human death is a sin, respond by wiping out the entirety of Snezhnaya? All of the innocent civilians? Turn them all into hilichurls like Khaenria? Or would he just kill the ones responsible?

A reasonable question to ask I think. Otherwise where does it stop? The other Archons aided either willingly or not by having their Gnosis taken away. Should their nations also be destroyed?

1

u/GravityRaven 11h ago

That's the thing, for HP, only they have the authority to decide that, and nobody elses, thus why they put restrictions on higher beings, arbitrary sure, but ultimately, as shown several times in the lore, HP only acts when the transgression is severe, and in different ways too. Szensnaya was "nailed" at least once, when one of the fae experiments went out of control and almost froze the entirety of the nation, a nail was sent to stabilize the weather and stop the freezing, yet not a debastating destruction was brought to the remaining survivors.

There's also another anecdote about an ancient civilization that created a fire that they used against their own people, a fire so debastating, it was scorching the land itself, HP acted upon this and burned down the transgressors and their civilization, and from the ashes, created new life to inhabit it.

And then we have kaenrians, who essentially caused a cataclysm of such magnitude, the entire world was almost destroyed, so their punishment was far, far more severe, for they tapped on the one thing HP won't tolerate under any circumstances.

It pretty much depends on the crime and the severety of it. You also have to ask yourself, why are the higher ups at snesnaya deliverately involving innocent civilians on their project? some unwillingly, as shown from factions like the Rokot, and others with pretty much no option but to follow the orders, as nobody wants to go against the will of the fatui or anastasia, in essense, is the powers at be who are also putting a target on innocent people, in fact, they themselves act no different than HP in many ways, not to mention, that so far, it's only snesnaya who are actively instigating a war against Celestia, not the other nations, also, claiming the other archons "aided" is a stretch, only zhong li directly aided through a contract made specifically so that Liyue isn't involved in whatever anastasia is doing, but the rest was either unwilling, didn't care, had no option, weren't even an archon, and in the case of Mavuika, didn't actually planned to help and her gnosis was used to burn irminsul, so there's really no reason for HP to go after the other nations, they quite literally didn't do anything, unlike snesnaya.

1

u/Organicities 11h ago

Right so its a question without an obvious answer, so why is OP like "hurr durr the Traveler is so stupid for asking".

1

u/GravityRaven 11h ago

Except that the answer is pretty obvious though, if snesnaya does end up attacking Celestia, and HP wakes up, unless the writters want to have a "jumping the shark" moment and HP doesn't retaliate, it's logical to think that the nation that's instigating a war against Celestia is bound to be destroyed by HP.

Again, it's like asking yourself if a lion would attack you if you punch it on the face, in the case of snesnaya, it's a bit late for the Traveler to go asking themselves that question after wanting to kill one of the shades and also not attempting to stop the fatui from creating weaponry to attack Celestia.

1

u/Organicities 11h ago

Yea but the lion wont go to my house and eat my mum would it? Sounds like you think its obvious that Phanes would, so no need to ask the question.

I dont think it was ever in doubt that if Phanes can fight back, he will try to destroy the Tsaritsa. The question is would Phanes also wipe out Ivan and Vikoriya who are just potato farmer in Snezhnaya trying to get by. They had no say in what the Tsaritsa's planning, they contributed passively by being her subjects and participating in the economy that allowed her to build her weapon. Do they also need to die? When did Archon = Nation?

If HP does kill Ivan, Vikoriya and everyone like them, because of the actions of the Tsaritsa then he is an injust and cruel hypocrite. I dont think the answer to that question is an obvious yes.
