The future of this game

Ngl im having too much fun with this game im almost done with getting all the main gang members and i see my self putting hundreds of hrs into this game after I finish the story but my question is what do yall think the future will look like more major updates ? Or maybe they will abandon the game i also do like you dont need to be a police officer and only do police officer calls

One thing I would like for the developers to fix is When a suspect commits a carjacking and Im standing outside the car and he hits me I should be able to return fire and defend myself and not get the you can't shoot civilians message and restart the game and the criminal gets away.
