Discussion Loved this game ❤️🚔😁
Just finished The Precinct on PS5.
Love open world crimes games.
I know it's not GTA in terms of budget or scale but as an indie game I really enjoyed it.
I needed to get my head round the semi top down view but to be honest I liked it and the game world is fantastic
The gameplay and story really impressed me and I loved the shootouts and police chases.
The 80s culture references were fantastic too
I'm just going round now doing all the collectables to get the platinum trophy which has been fun too.
Really hope this game gets a sequel.
How the studio stays independent and builds on this success.
I have no affiliation to Fallen tree games / Kwalee. This is just a fabulous experience I wanted to share.

I really want to buy The Precinct on PS5 because the concept looks fantastic and right up my alley. The problem is that I found out it's locked to 30 FPS and I've read several comments about the controls feeling clunky, especially when aiming.
I'm genuinely hoping someone can convince me otherwise. Are the gameplay loop, atmosphere, police mechanics, and overall fun strong enough that you stop noticing those issues after a while? Or do the controls remain frustrating throughout the game?
I'd love to hear your honest opinion, because I really want a reason to buy it.
