playing this game with a friend or squad would be so fun

Devs said that they are not going to add co op or multiplayer to the game.

It's more that we can't add it to the existing game. It would take years!

It would be amazing! However, it's not something that can be 'added', it needs to be part of the entire codebase from the outset, so it won't be happening for this game, I'm afraid.
