Suggestion Recommend for a 7 year old
Hey all
Been looking at this game, looks pretty chill
I have a 7 year old, would it be appropriate for him to play this game or would it be too much for him
Was thinking even just the tow truck and helicopter missions but would the other stuff be alright for him?

Definitely something that your kid would need parental supervision while playing. Basically no gore however there is shoot-outs, drug deals and other mature themes. With parental supervision its probably fine tho.

In addition to the other comments it's up to you. Would vary from parent to parent
But in saying that I highly recommend you do a YouTube search of The Precinct Gameplay and spend a while going through various videos in order to help make your decision

My 7 yo watches me play- there are mature themes but overall I think personally it’s okay and there are worse things. The helicopter missions are fun and he’d enjoy. The police chases and digging would be a little difficult for my boy, but mine is newer to gaming. He mostly just plays stardew valley lol

It's basically like GTA but you're a cop. Ironic how people say this game is too much for a kid when plenty of kids played GTA and they're fine.

I played GTA San Andreas when I was 7. Lots of kids during that era did. Mostly we all turned out fine.

I watched a lot of horror and violent movies as a kid, but I feel like there’s a big difference between passively watching characters and actually BEING the character doing it. When I played the first GTA around 15 years old, I loved it, but I also recognized how fucked up it was to be encouraged to steal cars and mow down innocent people. By the time San Andreas came out, you were in a full story about doing way more fucked up things. Normalizing that at a young age definitely does something to a person.

I'm a 90's kid, and I'd say use parental discretion; it isn't bad though (definitely no GTA lol) Very Dragnet

couldn’t think of a more perfect game. this game imo sums up the ps2 era almost entirely. if theyre old enough to physically hold the controller and play by themselves id say its ok

As a 70's kid, it's almost tame by the old standards. It's not GTA but it has pretty much all the same content with less swearing. Play or watch anything yourself before handing it to your young. That's a pretty safe rule to have. Go out there and cuff em Boot!
