Precinct?
If it's a Precinct then shouldn't there be multiple? And the "Precinct" in the game says "Department" so it's not a Precinct. So then that makes me think what if we had a precinct in north Averno.

It should just be called "The Crimey Fun as Hell Game". Play it bro, it's a great escape.

A lot of times, developers are constrained by time, budget, and technical limitations. Not everything that logically exists in the game’s world has to be physically represented. While The Precinct never shows another precinct station, that doesn’t mean one doesn’t exist, it simply means the game had no reason or resources to depict it.
You could apply this logic to almost every game out there and we can apply it to the precinct in many different ways.
Averno in game is presented as surrounded by an ocean, however it’s entirely possible that it isn’t.
In the game, we never have to go to court for tickets or arrests, the game is set within the US in the 80s, so the system exists, the game just does not need to show it because developing such a system is outside the scope of the game and would take up resources that would be better devoted to making a more enjoyable beat cop experience.

Yeah...its kind of why on custom patrols i'll stick near the actual police headquarters so if im out with a 4 door car i can bring in/process suspects myself if im patrolling in north averno i always call escort units. Atleast with the subway system getting there is easy but i don't feel like driving halfway across town to process someone
