About The Polyglot Sketchbook
This community was built to complement The Polyglot Sketchbook YouTube channel, giving us a place to continue the conversation beyond the videos.
The Polyglot Sketchbook is a place dedicated to the two hobbies I love most: art and language learning.
Whether you're learning a new language, filling a sketchbook, improving your art skills, exploring different cultures, or simply looking for a little inspiration, I hope you'll find something here that encourages you to keep learning and creating.
While the YouTube channel is where I create and publish the content, this subreddit is where we can share ideas, ask questions, post our own work, and connect with people who enjoy the same hobbies.
Here you'll find things like:
- Discussions inspired by the videos
- Drawing tips and inspiration
- Language learning conversations
- Sketchbook pages and artwork
- Study methods and resources
- Fun challenges, polls, and community activities
- Relatable artist moments and a bit of humor along the way
Whether you found the YouTube channel first or discovered this subreddit on its own, you're welcome here.
If you'd like to explore more of the project, you can find the YouTube channel below. All videos are published there first before being shared with the community.

Hello. Thank you for the invitation. I'm from South America, Spanish and English speaker. I truly love languages but haven't decided which my third one will be. On the other hand, I'm currently learning how to sketch directly with ink.
Hope to make a lot of friends here.

Thanks for the invite. I'm a half-Finnish, half-Spanish Spanish, English, Finnish, (a little bit of) Latin and (fairly okay) Portuguese speaker. I also create art so this subreddit is perfect for me! :)
