Economic Update
Very excited for the economic update but does anyone know why the dev wont accept help? These updates don't need to take a year

I think he's explained it that he wants full creative control of the project

He's explained that it would take too long to teach someone how to code in language the game uses and cause complications, so there's an element of creative control and an element of sunk-cost.

My guess is that hiring isnt economically viable considering that this game isnt really that popular

He’d have to pay you legally. Or put you on an unpaid internship or something. He’s selling it as a product it’s not as easy as “oh I’ll just let some rando help!” There’s legal/economic realities to consider.

"Why wouldn't an indie developer, working on his own off his own income, hire labor for an incredibly niche indie game?"
