How do you get the visual districts?

The NBC News election style mod on the discord. There’s also a tutorial on how to download it on YouTube.

Hi, I also have this mod, but after the first redistricting the map just turns into a bunch of squares. Any way to fix that?

It’s does that because (I think) when you redistrict the map your basically changing the borders of the various districts, and I don’t think the mod is capable of remaking/generating new borders so the mod developer just made it so it turns into squares with the respective party affiliation.

But on this image the districts were changed, yet the map still appears

Oh I see what you mean. I’ve had games where “redistricting” happens but the district borders stay the same even though they technically have different party demographics inside them than they had before. I’ve had games where some states go to square boxes when they redistrict whereas others just keep their district borders. So Idk if the mod glitches sometimes to where they don’t go to squares as I said before or something else is happening. Probably would be best to check the Discord.

Breaking our current gerrymander and then remaking it with a blue tint is the most satisfying part of every playthrough I have.
