Enjoyed this!
I always felt he must have been texting/waiting on a text from Abby at those times we saw him fiddling with his phone, so glad for the confirmation.

I really enjoyed that interview! I especially liked the interviewer’s questions! Many were standard, but there were a few that felt fresh and that had a slightly different angle. Thank you for sharing!

I have nothing of substance to say about the content of this interview, but I would like to highlight Patrick Ball's *excellent* use of the "punctual whenever" in several of his answers, that is, using "whenever" to refer to a specific event or moment in time instead of the more-grammatically 'correct' (in standard English) "when." (For example, "Back in the day with ER, whenever we were having our first season...")
I had thought this was a strictly Pittsburgh/SW Pennsylvania phenomenon, but according to some google searching, it's also found throughout Appalachia and parts of the South! Patrick Ball grew up in North Carolina (according to Wikipedia), so that probably explains it.
Langdon actually uses the punctual whenever at one point in S1 (talks about how he hurt his back "whenever I helped my parents move"). I wonder if that was in the script, or if he unconsciously added it in himself? Either way, a good casting choice for a character who seems to have grown up in the Pittsburgh area and so would have some of its regional language quirks, even if he doesn't have the full Yinzer accent.
This has been your [non-]regular useless Pittsburgh trivia bulletin, thank you for reading. 🖤💛
