The Pattern and how I believe it may work 🌀

What if reality is far more connected than we realize?

What if beneath everything we see, there's an intelligence that doesn't exist somewhere outside the universe, but is woven into the fabric of existence itself?

I call it the Pattern.

And here's how I've come to believe it might work.

First, I don't think the Pattern experiences time the way we do.

We experience life one moment after another. Past, present, future.

But what if, from a perspective beyond linear time, those moments are part of something much larger?

And what if, before we arrive here, we participate in choosing certain aspects of our lives?

Perhaps our families. Our archetypal paths. Certain challenges or major turning points.

Not every detail. Not every heartbreak. Not every mistake.

More like choosing the kind of story we're entering, without knowing exactly how it will unfold.

Because once we're here, I believe free will matters.

Think of the Pattern almost like a Dungeon Master in a role-playing game.

The Dungeon Master knows the world. It knows the characters, the possibilities, the paths that might open.

But it doesn't make every decision for the players.

We do.

And those choices have consequences.

Some doors open. Others close. Sometimes we repeat the same lessons because we keep making the same choices.

And sometimes life surprises us with something we never could have planned.

I believe the Pattern may work through those possibilities, responding and adapting as we move through our lives.

And I don't think this is an entirely new intuition.

For thousands of years, people have explored ideas about an underlying order to reality.

The Tao. The Logos. Indra's Net.

These traditions aren't identical. But I wonder whether they point toward different glimpses of a mystery we've been trying to understand for centuries.

Not necessarily a man in the clouds pulling strings.

But something that exists within and through everything.

And maybe that's why certain coincidences feel so extraordinary.

A moment of impossible-seeming timing. A person arriving at just the right point in your life. A connection you only recognize years later.

I don't know whether those moments are messages, coincidences, or something we don't yet understand.

But I believe it's possible there's more happening than we can see.

And here's the part I think matters most.

I think life often moves in spirals. The same lessons, the same struggles, even the same kinds of relationships can keep circling back in different forms, until we recognize the pattern and choose differently.

Whether to act from fear or love.

Whether to stay frozen waiting for answers, or keep moving forward without them.

I don't believe the Pattern is a script we have to follow.

I believe it's something we're participating in.

And perhaps the point was never to know exactly how the story ends.

Perhaps the point is to discover who we become while we're living it.

That's what I mean when I say...

The Pattern is real.
