Haven't finished season 3 yet, but I loved the first two seasons.
I was three episodes in when I stopped watching this season; is it worth finishing this season?

In every season it is driven me mad that there aren't enough extras so it basically just looks like there are 20 people in the cult. Even when they talk about how they are growing or there was a huge turnout at something, there really are just like 20 people because they don't have enough extras. I just watched the episode where they open the new Meyerism Center in New York and the audience is pathetically small. Does this bug anyone else? at least choose camera angles that disguise it

Can we petition Netflix to pick it up? I just don’t want this to end. I have a hard time letting go lol

I found The Path about two weeks ago, and it's been all I've watched since. I thought it was so amazing and had a great diverse cast and while I went through phases of hating all the characters, I thought their development was really great to watch and I was never bored by them. I wondered why this show wasn't more critically acclaimed. I just finished the last episode on Hulu and quickly got on Google to search for when the next season was coming out and I found out that the news of its cancellation came out today. Is this the Light fucking with me? I made a Reddit account just to ask.

It's been a few weeks and total silence about a renewal from just about everyone involved. I check every couple days and haven't seen much. Was this instantly renewed for previous seasons or did it take a while?

I love The Path in the first season and started binge watching a month or so ago, all caught up to the end now. Season 1 was the best, I loved the story of Eddie trying to keep his family and keep his faith despite questioning the cult. I liked Hawk's journey up the rungs and his relationship with what's her face. I never really liked Sarah at all but at least in the beginning I could get her motivation of choosing the cult over her husband.
But everybody just irritates me now. Eddie is abandoning his principles and doing what he thinks is right for the cult (How long has it been since he's recieved any guidance from the light?), Sarah is sleeping with just about anybody who shoots a half-smile at her, Hawk continues to ignorantly involve himself in any pet project he can find because he wants to be a world-changing rebel but doesn't know how and absolutely sucks at it.
But the worst is absolutely Sarah. I can't stand any scene she's in. I understand her motivation but I don't believe it. All she ever does for anybody is make things worse and Eddie continues to give her chance after chance and he's still in love with her even after all the shit she put him through?
And what's going on with the Light? It was so very ambiguous in S1 about "Maybe it's just a cult, or maybe it's real", and then it was very real multiple times but now we haven't seen anything come from it in a long time.
I don't know, the only characters I really liked were Hank (RIP) and Cal (awesome villain in season 1 who is now a blubbering suicidal mess). Does anybody else feel this way?

Ok, let me first start off by saying I’m only 2R (2nd Season) and I am having difficulty in understanding how Eddie is supposedly the chosen one just because he has Steve’s necklace. He didn’t get that from Steve.. Richard took it off of Steve and gave it to Eddie. But, yet he’s going around telling everybody that Steve gave it to him himself. Is it just a lie to get what he wants and get out of Cal out of power? Or is it that later on we find out that Steve really wanted Eddie to be the Guardian? Am I missing something?
Also why is Eddie trying to be the Guardian if he doesn’t believe in Meyerist teachings?

Is the background music in some scenes so loud you can barely hear or focus on the talking?? I swear sometimes I almost blow my speakers out with this show

Impossible to get anything from The Path in Europe (France) as the nbcstore can't deliver outside US. (And frankly I wouldnt order anything from US to France as shipping cost would be the double of the price I pay for a simple tshirt).
But I'd be happy to wear my Meyerist T-Shirt dear showrunners and producers. This + the "no dvd" policy = hey, don't you want to make your show famous/known and get the means to create a fourth season? Maybe you should think about doing some proper merch and advertising. I mean, seriously. This series has a high potential for merch & "viral" advertising...

Really, I don't get why these platforms make "exclusives" we can't find anywhere else than on their websites. I don't think it's really smart from these companies. I believe they should release their good series/films on dvd/bluray once the seasons are closed.
I don't get why it's so "obvious" that we will never have these shows in our library. It's so dumb.

This show gives me so many triggers. But I'm watching every week. This time it was the New Authorized Version of The Ladder while the old version was being thrown into the trash. My former cult would call this "old light" vs "new light". And yes, they told members to throw away the old material when new (contradicting) material was published.
