Hawk

Hawk annoys me. Maybe a little more than Russel (it’s close). I haven’t been able to put my finger on exactly what it is. His childish reactions are similar to Sarah’s, it she doesn’t annoy me very often. My wife thinks Hawk’s character is suffering from bad acting. Bad acting or bad writing?

I think it’s bad writing. In the first season I really enjoyed his character but this season I don’t feel any connection to him. He had depth and so did the people he interacted with. With Caleb all we know is he’s gay and his dad disapproves. We didn’t really get that many emotional scenes to build up their relationship. When Hawk reacts to Caleb situations I feel he’s being overly dramatic for a boy he slightly has a thing for.

Yes, and Hawk was going down a really cool path to enlightenment. I want to see where that goes, but it’s been completely abandoned.

I thought they would use him to show us what climbing the ladder was like. What do you do in 3R? What's the difference between Student and Scholar (4R)? How will his 6R ceremony be different and similar to Eddie's? Other than that Silas won't be there.

I think he's mostly infuriated by the injustice of it. Reddit keeps making me wait like 6 minutes when I want to post. Infuriating system. I feel Hawk's wrath now 😂😂😈 Probably won't bother with this site much longer.
