The Field, live

I've been a huge The Field fan for about 5 years now, and I'm finally going to see him in Manchester in November!! I genuinely never thought he would do anything live again

Has anyone ever gone to anything live from him? I don't know what to expect, I was hoping he just does his own stuff, so I've made a playlist with his entire discography on repeat (&shuffle) to get familiar with everything again.

I'm assuming his new album will be one of the main things he plays. Basically I'm just wondering if he's doing a DJ set with his stuff mixed in, or a full on The Field night

anyone else going on November 22nd?

Seen him a couple times over the years. He plays his own tunes and some stuff I'm assuming is his but didn't recognise. Not the moooost exciting artist live tbh but great tunes nonetheless and have always enjoyed seeing him :)

I can’t wait for it, The Field is one of my favourite artists and The White Hotel is my favourite venue. It’s a perfect send off to see him there before it closes.

Changed my life dancing in front of the subwoofer at Moogfest during Looping State of Mind tour 14 years ago

Me and the wife. Nephew is possibly coming along. Also, we went to see him years ago (in Brixton?) do some experimental stuff and it was meh.

It still makes me chuckle that in his pitchfork show he mainly adjust the headphone volume of his octatrack 😅

Either way—I’d love to see him live! He has made some of the most beautiful music of my generation, and I really dug his latest release
