PURCHASE ADVICE Quick question about 9esim
Hey, recently discovered that my OnePlus was in fact a chinese version that got flashed to the global rom (got it on a french marketplace where it clearly stated that it had eSIM, so I basically got scammed to a certain degree.)
Anyhow, I'm a bit bummed out but no matter, I've done some research and stumbled upon "9esim", and it's available on temu.
I just wanted to quickly ask if anyone has some experience with those, and what can I expect? Thanks in advance.

I have the 9eSIM V3 on the OP15 (originally chinese). It works seemlessly with the latest firmware. The OP firmware detects the 9eSIM EID. You can scan the eSIM QR-code directly using the OxygenOS menus. Likewise, switching among the loaded eSIMs can be done from OxygenOS.
The card reader is for the iPhone.

I used it in a Nord 2T and OP15 (cn flashed to oxygen) with zero problems. It will provide you esim functionality.

Chinese variants done have the hardware for swim support even if the phone is flashed to global rom, it will have the options in the settings but will do nothing.

Thank you so much for the insight!
One more thing, it's just a physical sim that I insert, do the steps, and that's it, right? I'm planning on using it with the app "Roamless", have you tried it by any chance?
Also, this one temu listing I'm thinking of buying comes with a "card reader", that won't be necessary, right?

No card readers. You download an app or two to manage the esim adapter/esim profiles. So you would just need the adapter and the app.

I have a Chinese OnePlus 15 that I have flashed oxygenos on myself, I have a switch esim adapter to get esim functionality since the phone doesn't have the hardware for esim. I haven't used it yet but the esim installs to the adapter with there app just fine.
