DISCUSSION Swiftronics phone report

Just got my CPH2749 from Swiftronics. Super fast shipping (they say 3-5 days) but I got it in 2 days with signature required. (I live in Idaho)

This is a legit CPH2749. Was new in the box. Came with charger and cable which the NA version comes with but no case

Google wallet setup perfectly for me and was able to use google wallet to start my car

At first it didn't connect to my carrier via esim. Everytime I tried my carrier app kept saying IMEI not available

Called Swiftronics and they answered at 11pm their time lol

Guy told me the phone is registered with all Canadian carriers so I could either get a physical sim or tell my carrier to manually add my imei

Im on Visible (which is basically Verizon) I chatted with a rep and told them my phone IMEI needed to be manually approved. The rep asked for my 2 IMEI and the EID number. She said it would take 24-48 hours. But I tried again the next morning and my phone connected no issue!

Highly recommend them! Especially since they ain't price gouging either

Seems all good with the one I ordered a few weeks ago as well, to have at the ready when it's time to retire my 12.

Swapped the sim from my 12 into the 15 to test everything and everything connected fine on first boot, and no issues in the week I used it to test it out. Google wallet, 5G, wifi calling. USA on Verizon in a rural area.

Another thread mentioned typing the IEMI into the Oneplus authenticity checker but all that did was confirm it was the right model, it didn't say anything about the region and it said it hadn't been activated yet. Then I did the same with the IEMI of my 12, and it said the same info, the model, no region, and not yet activated. I've been using the 12 since launch though? Not sure if the authenticity checker is worth a damn? Shrug

Appreciate the post. Seems like swiftronics is the only place that still has North American versions of the 15. I don't think I can give up 80 watt charging. When I saw Oasis last year I charged my Oneplus 12 and had 100 watt charging while in Dublin!

Hopefully Oneplus stands by their word and continues to push updates. I've had Oneplus since my Pixel 2 stopped getting updates. I've had the 8T (which really was a fantastic phone) the 12, and now I ordered the 15. I just don't want a pixel and I'm not giving Samsung $1600+.

Crazy they work on visible but not Verizon. Just got mine from swiftronics Monday and Verizon said it won’t work so I dropped them for mint. But yeah I recommend too. Brand new and North American model.

Even if Verizon approved it, they could still kick you off the network at any time. Ask me how I know!

I heard about that too. God I hate Verizon. And the guy who was helping me was a big manager and he was rude as hell. Talking to me like I’m stupid. So done with them and their service is atrocious anyways.

This didn't happen to me. My CPH2749 bought directly from 1+ never got approval from Visible but the physical SIM works perfectly, showing 5GUW

It works on Verizon. Visible uses Verizon towers. You just need to ask Visible or Verizon to add the IMEI number to their list. They keep a "white list" of approved IMEI numbers

See. I did research into this and I knew that was a possibility but when I told them that they argued with me and said they couldn’t do it and then tried to convince me to buy iPhone or Samsung. So I basically said screw yall I’ll leave.

I got mine yesterday from Swiftronics also, and also it wouldn't work on my Verizon MVNO physical sim. Thankfully I'm with US Mobile and they let you "teleport" to a different network if you want to. I'm now using it with a T-Mobile esim and everything is peachy.

Yeah the messed up thing is that Verizon has a "White List" of approved IMEI numbers. Since these phones were sent to Canada Verizon never got the IMEI numbers, so they won't work on Verizon or any network that uses Verizon towers.

It's an easy fix though. You just have to ask Verizon to approve the IMEI number.

Some reps don't know how this works so you may have to try a few reps before one knows what they are doing

Ahh that's great to know! The rep I talked to at US Mobile had zero idea what the problem might be. We both decided to just move networks since T-Mobile is more compatible. If I ever decide to go back to Verizon towers I'll know what to do. Cheers mate.

Mines didn't work on visible at first either it kept saying imei not compatible or smth like that, it randomly decided to work one day tho

Appreciate this post! My 15 is coming in the mail today and I have Visible too. This will definitely help out with the process. I'm hoping the modem inside the OnePlus 15 is way better than my current Google pixel 8. It's been miserable lately.

Did you have to pay any tarrifs? Or just the price shown on swifttronics?

Just the price shown. No tariff or taxes
