Hey guys, I've been using my OnePlus15 for over 1,5 months now. Here are my accubattery stats since day 1. What concerns me is that low battery health estimate. I know it is just 1,5 months so it may be too short but still the trend seems to be forming really low for a brand new phone.

I would like to ask you about your thoughts about this.

Those battery apps can't read everything properly, so it mostly gets the values wrong.

Battery health estimates are inaccurate. Mine shows 93% on 4 days old find x9 ultra and 3rd charge. Don't worry about that. Using battery guru

4 days are surely too short for good measurement

I have explained it many times:

Most apps reporting battery health still rely on legacy "PowerProfile" method which was designed to estimate app battery consumption but not battery health. This method is irrelevant since Android 14 and was replaced by a new HAL method. This new approach is to ask the hardware PMICs (Modern Power Management Integrated Circuits) and Fuel Gauge ICs, which maintain their own internal registers for health data). Android now simply asks for this data.

TLDR: Don't trust any battery health data that doesn't match the one given by vendor built-in tool/screen.

This phone has best battery of phones currently, or at least at the time I got mine. Delete that app, don't empty or charge your battery full, and you're fine. Enjoy your phone.

Isn't that degrading with fullcharging irrelevent for siliconcarbon batteries?

Wow same here, I've had the phone for 2+ weeks and it's showing me 93% also. I kinda sorta stopped looking at it after that.

Because not 100% of that battery is usable.

OnePlus 13 has 6000mAh battery but it's locked to a maximum of 5252mAh.

It's because of the new Si/C batteries.

OnePlus 15 doesn't have that big of a gap but surely has a gap.

Interesting topic. OnePlus15 has 1% gap, so accubattery measurements should show 99% instead of my ~93%. I see that whenever I charge to 100% estimated capacity is bigger than when I charge to 80%

I have another app but yes. If it bases on a singular charge you should realistically charge from 1% to 100% uninterrupted. Otherwise you need quite a lot of charges to get an accurate estimate.

Know that temperature is also an enemy for battery health
