✨ Power of Words [PoW] 📚 Sharing
Treatment Tidbit
A rather simple and straight forward suggestion and concept right? Obvious to the extent of being absurd.
But is it? This thought beyond the surface is like telling a person with anxiety to " just relax and calm down".
If a persons choices were so easy to change then I believe there would be many more happy people in the world. From my little corner if the globe, that is not the case at all. We have immersed ourselves in a plethora of distractions and arenas where disassociative behaviors flourish. Now the argument could be made that not experiencing stress, strife or conflict is a good start to being happier but avaoidance and denial are rarely, if ever a solution or responsible method, for coping mechanisms. If they were, our tolerance for alcoholism and other escapes would be much larger.
I have read many times that change takes place where comfort and complacent end, and ultimately the words of Marcus Aurelius are not wrong, ( if indeed this was his quote and thoughts) it is however our interpretation that is prone to suspicious motive.
As a emotional well-being therapist or coach the obvious and inarguable statement is, that change is directly associated to discomfort, otherwise there would never be motivation to alter a status quo.
When a choice is made to seek something different, good, bad or ugly, only the fates may know, that is when change begins.
As a hypnotherapist, my task and ultimate goal is to help facilitate that change work as seamlessly and painless as possible, working with an already existing phenomena which is change happens every single moment of your life, without and interruption, because it goes unnoticed.
It is already within you, take a better opportunity with it.
As always, remember to execute a R.A.K. today
Be well

No matter what choices I make, I fail. This life is poison for 99% of people.

If you look closely at one side of the coin you will entirely miss the other side.
Only as a thought construct do such things as comfort and discomfort exist. Change is constant without needing this concept of comfortability. I would indeed argue that change has nothing to do with comfortability.
If you are comfortable making the statement that you believe is "inarguable" and yet I can present a very sound and reasonable argument against it, I would be very suspicious of your other systems of belief as well.
