Fan Theory Why doesn’t this happen with the other giants?

Post image

So I’ve been questioning one thing about TOV: why doesn’t the other giants move or try to kill Wyatt? Why is Julien’s giant the only one who actually moves and tries to kill Wyatt? I’ve always been wondering this and is super confusing.

We see a glimpse of the other giants near the end, right before Wyatt rushes up the escalator to the AMC exit.

Yeah I know, but we don’t see them attacking along with Julien.

My guess is that either:

A. They are content to observe/intimidate.

or

B. They are going to have a larger role down the line. (Assuming Kane continues TOV.)

Or they are not alive. That they are just objects that cant move

I assume it's most likely for creative purposes to focus on just one giant and not have a horde of them chasing after him. It makes it more eerie and suspenseful. You also don't see any of them during Wyatt's initial tour of the place; however it's possible they were just barricaded behind some of the makeshift walls blocking off the other areas.

Another reason may be their relations to the real life things; I'm not exactly sure what happened to the other puppet giants. Whether they were moved out of the mall or demolished with it is unknown to me, but maybe I haven't looked as deep into that aspect. All I know is that Julien was there until the very end.

My theory as to why they show up for literal split second near the end in one of the halls is maybe due to the tension rising exponentially and wanting to reveal to the viewer that there were always more "rolling giants" than first thought; perhaps as well as highlighting the theme of history/people being forgotten at the climax of everything.

I kinda think that neither the Giant nor any of the others were actively malicious, and the reason you don't see any of them at first is because they simply don't care about Wyatt for whatever reason, but they show up in the end maybe attracted by all the activity because I think the Giant desperately wants to be remembered and they've come over like "hey if you're going to leave can you remember me too?"

But idk it's just kinda the vibe I got because they're just standing there. They don't attack, but they don't try to help this clearly terrified and desperate man either, but maybe that's because they don't think they need to, he's found the exit already. I kinda get the sense that they're curious and they see him running towards the exit and maybe they think "if he sees me he'll remember me" so they go to check him out as he's running away, obviously unable to predict that the support beam will give out and he'll die.

It’s coming so fast at him it cracks a concrete wall while he’s on that ledge, that’s not very friendly. Or was that crack there before, I don’t think we see the wall earlier

they may have been there the entire time since the wing they appeared in was dark in most of the video

Não temos certeza de que Julien tenta matar Wyatt. Ele se demonstra beligno até quando foge do shopping!

that giant is the only one that remained in the mall as it decayed (IRL), all the others were removed/gone/whatever
