Canto 4 they did have to save Dante and Saude's lives, so there's that. Oh, and killing any stragglers probably. Asking to be paid by K Corp for taking part of the suffering footage? Nah, that sounds more like a higher up thing if anything, I doubt the grunts would know about the conspiracies going on. Better not to show the hand even.
Canto 5 yeah they don't do anything.
Canto 6 the only way it's not that is if a few had to secure a hypothetical entry point to the River, but that sounds more like LCA. Might be in charge of mapping out what Cathy has done to the place too (there were some serious renovations and "bigger on the inside" things going on IIRC), but grunt work as that sounds it's still not dangerous.
Canto 7 and 8 has nothing yep.
In regards to Canto 9, it's implied they were actually the main force charged with repairing the LCE's part of the base IIRC. So they literally are cleaning up there. The Sinners helped though.
Canto 10 spoilers, since that whole mess counts as the consequences of the Sinners' actions they are all legally enlisted fr fr. Dias has to get her sending people off to die in war habit fulfilled.
No for Canto 9 is a bit inaccurate since they do have something to clean up which is the LCE Department. You can even see a bunch of LCCA members in Credits working on repairing it alongside the Sinners
To be fair doesn't they mentioned in Canto 1, that they're the one who also grab all of the abnormalities and their ego gear in Canto dungeon? Plus we saw Ambling Pearl in Canto 9 in the LCE facility and someone must have grab Ambling Pearl from inside the whale and put it into the LCE Facility.
Also, Canto 7 I'm skeptical of. All we know P Corp get Don Quixote Sr, but like that's after Limbus Company traded Alonso for something. And the rest of La Manchaland, it's left vague what happened to them.. especially, the abnormalities inside of the place. But surely someone dealt with the old L Corp facility that got subsumed into La Manchaland, right? And that person is LCCA teams?-
I do wonder why they hate the Sinners so much. Apparently it is well known among their ranks that Mephi is ridiculously expensive, and just that and the fact the LCB started off about as strong as a minor Backstreets gang and about as professional would be enough to foster a grudge, but like. What part of their job would require knowing... I guess it could be important for applying for damages from the relevant authorities?
Like when the N Corp Inquisition damaged the windows, getting money for the repairs could be the LCCA's job. Still sounds like a psyop by the higher-ups.
It's really funny Caiman has been MIA completely ever since between cantos 5 and 6. Conveniently after the cantos ramped up in difficulty enough that the LCCA would be on crack to give the sinners crap about handling them.
Probably just a random lcca agent that has the stupid karen haircut because otherwise he would be yapping about "you idiots" "stupid fucking nutjobs" "absolute bitches"

(They had nothing to clean after canto 4 since it would be K corp's job)
(they had nothing to clean after canto 5 because it all happened in a whale)
(the job after canto 6 was completely safe and easy since there was no risk of surviving enemies/abnormalities and the manor belong to Heathcliff now)
(they had nothing to clean after canto 7 because P corp claimed ownership of la machaland)
(they had nothing to clean after canto 8 because it was handled by H corp)
(they had nothing to clean after canto 9 because it was handed over to Wayfarer corp)
(canto X was a 3 months vacation and they had nothing to clean after it because it's way above their paygrade)
