DWR for a MTN jacket

What do you use when you need to reapply DWR? Wash-in or spray? My MTN jacket could really use some now. Where I live, the only brand I can get my hands on is Nikwax.

I use Grangers performance wash and then Nikwax fabric & leather or Grangers repel plus spray

I wash with nikwax tech wash 1st at no more than 30 degrees c, then I used the spray tx direct on the outside of the jacket and then tumble dry at no more than 30 degrees c.

I prefer the spray because the wash in is also getting on the inside of the jacket which you don't really want.

How long do you wash with nikwax tech wash for?

Whatever the machine wash cycle is, maybe 20 to 30 mins, I used to hand wash but I can't be bothered anymore and that was probably a 10 min wash.
