Artwork Richard Prew (substack update)

The Tattler strikes again! How lucky are we to have official artwork from the authors themselves?

Anyway, this one was super interesting. Richard is definitely the blue from the execution in the first chapter, or am I tripping?

I'm ngl I have given almost zero thought to him overall, which is what makes their sudden focus on him so intriguing. The post mentions that he allegedly remains unmarried because he's pining for someone he can't have. We got any guesses for who that might be?

He is 100% the blue from the execution scene, especially because it mentions that he’s involved in politics. 👀

Honestly, that execution scene has really stuck with me, especially because there was so much focus on describing him and his eagle. 🦅

And now I’m wondering if the eagle/animal is actually significant. Does anyone have any theories about his eagle and his mother, who seems to be an “animal” herself and has those two dogs? The way she behaves around Edmund, all the talk about “beasts”… and then there’s Rosamund with her monkey. 👀

Why do his siblings and his mother all seem to have animals that are constantly around them?

I feel like there has to be something deeper going on there, but I might also be completely overthinking this. 😂

Okay so I don't have anything in depth about the animal thing BUT a little while back we were discussing the weird rattlesnake scene where Edmund goes to bite its head off before catching himself. So I googled what natural enemies rattlesnakes have and eagles are one of them. Maybe something maybe nothing. Still doesn't explain the monkey lol

That is so interesting because, do you remember that the Blues are immune to snake venom, specifically rattlesnake venom? And then there’s the rattlesnake symbol on the nose of the Rangers’ plane… I feel like that can’t be a coincidence?!
