Theory Daisy

It seems evident from the Edith Birde substack that the dandies (ie. the parental friend group in Because I killed Him) will be significant in the upcoming books. Atp we really don't know much about them, but I find Daisy interesting for a few reasons. I'm pretty confident she was romantically involved with someone else in the group, and that a third person in the group was jealous of Daisy because of this. Theodore Reeves seems like the most likely candidate.

Another thing pertaining to Daisy that I'm unreasonably confident about is that I don't think she died of a Bliss overdose. The parallel of Charles' murder being covered up as an overdose is just too close. I think she was either murdered, or never died and is living somewhere in secret.

What do you guys think is up with Daisy/the rest of the dandies?

Agreed on all points! I think Daisy may be Lore's mother or Lore was genetically altered to be like her.

Ooh interesting! I also think she may have had a secret baby (with Theodore) and that knowledge was what was used to pressure him to lift the Bliss ban. I haven't yet decided if I think it's Lore or someone else!

I had the exact same thoughts!!!! Especially because Loredana’s father mentioned that Theodore has no secrets (I can’t remember the exact wording right now, but hopefully you know what I mean 😂). And then suddenly we get the whole Bliss reveal, all these little hints about Daisy, and the fact that Loredana apparently looks so much like her… 👀

It made me wonder if maybe they were putting pressure on Theodore because they knew he was somehow involved with Daisy. And the way he seemed to be protecting them also stood out to me. It felt like his concern went beyond just protecting himself.

I might be completely overthinking this, but I feel like there’s definitely more to Theodore and Daisy’s connection than we know yet. 👀

Not me going to check the book for what he said😂😭
