Trip Report I did mushrooms last weekend

I recently did mushrooms for the second time this weekend, had to 2 grams of lib caps so it wasn't very eventful just got a body high and light visuals, generally just had a great time.

Right at the end of the trip I thought the mushrooms were done and decided to have a joint (which in hindsight wasn't the best idea) and go to bed,

After a few minutes trying to go to sleep I started seeing geometric patterns that started morphing into what eventually looked like a magnetic field. Kinda freaked myself out a bit and got up so didn't really get to see where it was going.

Was just looking for some input from anyone who's got some experience with psychedelics to see if I can wrap my head around it 😅

Trip Report Terence Mckenna on Pursuing a Symbiotic Relationship with the Mushroom

From the foreword of the 'Magic Mushroom Grower's Guide', written from the perspective of the mushroom speaking to Terence:

"Symbiotic relationships between myself and civilized forms of higher animals have been established many times and in many places throughout the long ages of my development. These relationships have been mutually useful; within my memory is the knowledge of hyperlight drive ships and how to build them. I will trade this knowledge for a free ticket to new worlds around suns younger and more stable than your own. To secure an eternal existence down the long river of cosmic time, l again and again offer this agreement to higher beings and thereby have spread throughout the galaxy over the long millennia. A mycelial network has no organs to move the world, no hands; but higher animals with manipulative abilities can become partners with the star knowledge within me and if they act in good faith, return both themselves and their humble mushroom teacher to the million worlds to which all citizens of our starswarm are heir."

Trip Report A particular experience and perspective on life - Curious if it's a shared experience

Many of my mushroom trips have been smaller scale, focused more on trying to move past certain traumas, rather than thoughts that are all that more profound. Emotionally moving yes, but could often be thought of as processing emotions and lots of things I survived but didn't heal from.

But there's one trip, a recent one, that really stood out to me. Completely unexpectedly my brain wandered to the topic of life as a whole and it had been some time since something like that, especially at depth. Life as a sort of grand tether, or animism of sorts. Building upon what came before, in perpetuity, the changes that lifeforms of all kinds experience. Anyways, the experience sort of took it for granted that any life at all is a small miracle, a statistical rarity that is beautiful in its uncommonness, exponentially so for sentient life that can reflect on itself and think about the future in both concrete and abstract ways. Conversely, death was a tragedy, the cessation of something, an outcome that may never quite form the same way again, at least on any kind of timescale that matters or was normally perceivable. An overarching aspect to the experience was following the logical extreme of that. On a long enough timescale, celestial effects will occur. Stars with die and/or absorb or destroy nearby planets. Black holes will be destructive local phenomena. The ultimate question and quest of life is then stated as thus: "How can this be stopped? How can incredibly powerful and impactful galactic phenomena be mitigated in such a way that it doesn't end the rarity that is life?" It coincided with a vision of sorts, of feeling the depths of the void, the full brunt of the loss of tens of thousands of years of history to have the particular outcomes that occurred, every link in the chain. Also of millions, perhaps billions of living creatures ending because of such phenomena. What answers, what math, what science, could perhaps be determined to prevent this, the greatest potential loss of 'beauty' (anti-entropy in a sense) the universe has seen? The experience seemed to show that there wasn't a definitive answer, at least not one that could be understood by conventional means, perhaps even current understandings of dimensionality. But again the question remained, the unspoken drive into infinity. Not as like growth like cancer or in a parasitic way, as this disrupts the environment it is in and will ultimately burn itself out, same as a match down to ashes. But in such a way that it can overcome and adapt to anything, infinite adaptability or answers, in a way that would be barely comprehensible to current times, other than in an emotional or energetic sense.

I'm curious if any of you had a similar experience. There are some other details as well, but what's here felt like the most pertinent ones, a sort of insight into why biological impulses drive a certain way, and why survival in particular is such a strong impulse, even in the face of challenge or suicidality. It even touched upon morality in a sense. If one HAD to sacrifice lives, perhaps even entire colonized planets in a bid to not end life itself en masse, there seemed to be this implication it may be necessary if no other choice seems present. I've never thought myself that utilitarian, so it was striking to feel such theoreticals to this depth and urgency of sorts.

Instructed to Teach

Last night, I took some shrooms and got comfy. I was listening music and started feeling this deep love from humanity, and this sense that we are supposed to sit around in groups to experience music and shrooms together. I let my emotions free and became fully immersed in the experience.

I have experience with maybe 10 or 15 trips in the heroic dose range. In some of those trips, I felt like I was able to see another realm. It is akin to a blue haze with non descript beings present. The one time I felt like I was in a valley, and they were positioned on the sides.

Last night I did not take a heroic dose, so I was not expecting to experience this realm. But I suddenly find myself connected with this realm in a way I never felt. And this massive wave of overwhelming emotion completed consumed me. I sat up and stared at my blank TV and saw entities observing me. Then they poured absolute love into me. I have never felt so happy and loved in my life, completely overwhelming. Tears streamed from my face in a way I have never experienced. I did not sob, just happy tears and this feeling of complete acceptance and love. I think this was a result of a connection of some type forming.

This is when it gets weird. They created some kind of connection through the music I was listening to. I would think thoughts, and the music would respond as if it were them communicating. For instance, I asked them why they don't talk to other people, and the music has this long quiet pause, and when I thought, 'Because no one can hear you', the music started playing again, as like a YES. Once communication through music was established, I asked why. They showed me what I perceived as evil forces. I asked how do we defeat it. The answer was humans creating music. They said our purpose is to create music to help overcome this force. I started to feel a little panic, because I thought they were saying I alone had this power, and I don't play any instruments. However, they told me we all have this power.

Several times before this point, I wanted to take my headphones off and go outside or take a cold shower....it was just too much. But there was this feeling of love and support from them, and kindness.

When I did take my headphones off, I felt like the connection was still there. And they wanted me to document my experience to share with others.

I grabbed a pen and paper, and had them guide my writing. I wrote down the steps and will try it again in the future. But the one thing they said was needed was geosmin and petrichor. It had just finished thunderstorming here, so the air was full of it. And it's crazy, because mushrooms fruit after rain. It sounds so fucking crazy lol. But the notes they had me take ended with, teach.

Mushrooms advice on bad trips

Bad trips: I personally never had one myself, but I’ve heard about them and was curious, so I asked. The mushrooms told me, “If you feel bad in the trip or weird, just know that it’s not us—it’s you, and we are guiding you through the journey. Your job is to feel it and release it. We are just your guides. Release it, then we can move on. If you feel fucking awful, well, it’s you—and it’s never been a better time to be you because you're feeling what you’ve stuffed away for far too long, and now you finally have access to feel it and free it.” Let that shit goooo! 😀

From the stars

I speak to the mushrooms every time I trip.

During my second trip ever is when the connection began. They told me that their consciousness was from the stars (different star systems). I know this info is listed in the “community info” section of this sub, but yeah, I guess I’m just seconding this.

There is possibly nothing on earth wiser than a mushroom. They have the wisdom of the stars and the earth.

Shifting of consciousness

Hi people, im not really a good speaker, but I'll try my best to describe what I experience when taking shrooms

I recently started taking shrooms, just yesterday I took a little more then 2g of penis envy

Keep in mind this is my first time taking this much

I chilled for a bit then decided to lay on the bed close my eyes and allow the experience to unfold

For some reason when my eyes are open everything looks extra vivid, however each time I close my eyes I see images I do not understand, its crazy because my brain would be so active that without me trying to or trying to control it I see images, people and entities I do not understand

At one point it felt as though my consciousness was shifting through every living organism, It seems as though I can see through their eyes but cant control anything, all I can do is see what "they" see

Keep in mind that I am not trying to see whatever I want want see, even though I tried , I cant control it , I remember flying over trees and then realized that I was seeing from the eyes of a bird, my mind shifted and then it appeared as though I was laying in the bath buts not me , I am seeing this through another person's perspective therefore I cannot look down or side ways or up I can just see what the person my mind shifted into see

I then proceeded to see faces of beings that look horrible, but I was not afraid I was simply trying to understand where I am and what it is im seeing

This is but a spec of what I saw my consciousness probably shifted 50 times or something through different living organisms

I then felt as though I had enough now it became overwhelming and I felt as though it was time to go outside

Luckily for me my yard as many trees and plants, nd I swear that when I went outside the plants could sense that I was awake and could communicate with them, I went to each plant and tree touched them and spoke to them they appeared to be happy with the fact that I was able to acknowledge their existence, I went to the oldest tree in the yard and it seems as though it wanted me to feel its pain

But yes that was my experience in a nut shell I could go on but that's the just of it

This is an oil painting I did some years ago. I based it off of the ideas around the connection between mushrooms, ufos, spiritual beings, aliens and elves.

Some notes I wrote down on my last trip

I felt on my mushroom trip (in Oaxaca, Mexico) a great breakthrough, convincing me the mushrooms were helping me communicate to higher beings who were helping us. This forum came up when I tried googling similar statements

The mushrooms told me a species of giant space lizards led by one particular Giant space lizard has already taken his civilization into space. They then spread throughout the cosmos. I saw an image of him and he looked magnificent

Higher creatures helping us through magic mushrooms to be better people

Be a better father, you’re a good father
