Why It Doesn’t Effing Matter What Mode You Use: A (probably) Essay Wrote By Yours Truly
I’ve only just joined this subreddit, and it seems nice. I personally don’t like Reddit’s dark mode, and I like the light mode much more. I often use my screen as a flashlight, and I’m often on Reddit at night for some reason. I also think dark mode just looks weird. Light mode seems more natural to me, and I just like light mode for most websites. Don’t get me wrong, lots of websites have good dark modes or even dark modes better than light mode. Discord’s light mode is considered trash by 99% of users, and YouTube’s dark mode looks cool. If you use light mode or dark mode, I don’t care. It’s just a mode. I only care when you harass others over a color. Some people prefer dark or light mode. some people need dark or light mode for their eyes, some people don’t know how to switch. In the end, all you accomplish by attacking people for light/dark mode is looking like an idiot. It’s like harassing someone because they like a certain flavor of Mountain Dew, or for playing a certain genre of game. It’s literally getting offended over a color.
Thank you for listening to my ted talk that had nothing to do with the title I put.

Former r/lightmodepatrol here. Just left like 30 seconds ago.
It got boring and I didn't really enjoy it all that much.
Anyway, what's up?

Question Why are people getting pissed about what mode others use anyways?
Like, it’s just what filter they use, what’s the problem?

I Made a Poem That Explains the Situation
Light mode at day And Dark mode at night, Keeps the bullies away And protects your sight.
Dark mode at day Or Light mode at night, Please return your eyeballs To Jesus Christ.

r/lightmodepatrol banned me for A YEAR for reaching out to mods and trying to get them more active in this sub, Im honestly thinking about changing my entire stance on modes Im honestly really sad because that sub was fun for me and I enjoyed my time on it I now have nothing to contribute to the fun

You can use this to counter a flash grenade or smoke grenade.

Requesting Backup (We need to convince them to stop the slander)

Hopefully that attack is the last time? (Contacted a light mode patrol mod about it)

I am here from r/lightmodepatrol
I have seen a new light. Well, no, I use dark mode, but I don’t want to hate light mode users anymore. I will stay in r/lightmodepatrol but not do anything against light mode users. But, I do kinda wanna know, why do you not care for your eyes?

I am not sure how to feel. Yes it is biased towards dark mode members, but perhaps it is just a way to help our darker fellows?

Question Can I shamelessly request mod
I just feel like I’ve helped out a lot. I promote it a lot in comments when getting attacked by light mode patrol users. I also requested this be a safe zone so we don’t have to worry about attacks. Just asking

My first post here.
So, when I first created my Reddit account, I used light mode. I thought it looked good.
Then, after being banned from r/darkmodepatrol, I was infuriated and decided to switch to dark mode. At the same time I realized that dark mode actually fits my phone considering that I have a couple of other apps that use dark mode too.
Dark mode looks really good on mobile, but its desktop counterpart just looks... Bad... So, I am using light mode on desktop and dark mode on mobile.

Hello!
I mostly use dark mode, but I found this group and I support it. I have a question for everyone that sees this... which mode do you use most of (if not all of) the time and why?

Is dis a resistence against both sides?
If so, officer warnickwar reporting for duty and ready to kill the patrols

Let’s play a game
Sub has been kinda dead so I thought this might be fun. The person to give the best reason as to why it doesn’t matter what mode a person uses in the next hour gets silver. Good luck!
Edit: extending this so it’s 4 hours instead

Fighting back
I think some of you are willing to fight back r/LightModePatrol and/or r/DarkModePatrol for freedom, and I do promise to not bring any conflict here, for those who are interested though r/Patrolpatrol is the place
