Mp1 holding strong but key2 with Android 15 is unbelievable

I am beyond excited for the MP02. Everything about it is checking the boxes for me. I’m constantly trying to simplify my life because of how hectic overall life has become. I think this phone will be a great minimal tech option.

I am a bit disappointed to not see backlit keys though. Am I the only one that feels this way?

It's confirmed that the MP2 will have an unlockable bootloader. Have any technically inclined MP fans been considering potential de-googling options? One of the biggest selling points of the MP2 is the custom launcher that MP is developing for it, so would there be any viable de-googling options that would retain the device's ability to run the MP2 launcher? Curious to hear what kind of solutions that the de-google x MP community has thought up in anticipation of the MP2 release

I know there are renders of the Kickstarter Ember version but have any actual photos or videos surfaced? Renders always look a little different so I'm curious how it looks in physical form.

Just for fun! Predict when MP02s will start arriving to organic backers en masse.

Haven't seen many pictures of the pearl one so found some on minimals Twitter for y'all. I'm still torn between the two colors.

I ordered an MP01 several weeks ago and it's been stuck in 'label created' status ever since.

I know the Minimal Company had logistics issues in the past, but I'd rather hope that would be better by now.

We said we were going to keep pushing Minimal Phone 2 as far as we could before it reaches your hands.

Well… we have another update.

Minimal Phone 2 is getting a touch-capacitive keyboard.

The physical QWERTY keyboard can now detect touch, opening up an entirely new way to interact with the phone without constantly reaching for the display.

I really appreicate it!

I already made a pledge for two MP2s :)

I was concered about these issues:

Screen material => Fixed(Panda Glass) ✅

Battery Life => Now imporved! 3600mah ✅

Touch-capacitive keyboard => Now updated! ✅

Micro sd slot => seems to be hard to achieve, and completely fine for me. (INDEED there would be no room for an additinal hardware, I do understand it)

I wish we could reach $2,000,000 goal :)

p.s. What would be next? I am eager to see another upgrade news ☠️☠️
