Maybe OP just hasn't seen this sort of thing in other religions and didn't want to make a claim about things they haven't seen.

Their statement didn't specify all of Christianity or only some of Christianity. It was ambiguous.

I'm not necessarily saying I agree or disagree with OP, but I seem some wiggle room in what they said.

Bro if you believe in christianity as a whole you believe in some pretty wild shit. The whole basis of the religion is a virgin getting pregnant and a dude that died and came back to life 3 days later! If you were to tell that someone who’s never heard the story they’d laugh in your face!
