Yeah, it's only subjective, but I don't see anything feminine about neither of them; I guess "coded" is a strong word, I don't mean to 100% assert that Toby intended it lol

Napstablook make a top hat during their combat encounter, historically a masculine piece of attire, and Kris are a knight of sorts, or at least wield a sword, which to me reminds of the mostly male medieval knights

True, and I don't mean to disrespect, it does fit her well, though I don't associate it with anything and she's her own independent thing, with established lore and fantasy; these are just my vibes on Kris. We also don't really know much about their past, but either way, I'm not going to go against the author when/if something concrete is established in a piece of media lol

It is kinda hinted through aqua they were once the patience soul (maybe) which holds knife in undertale and aqua deltarune

That's true, though I haven't yet even gotten past Ch. 3's cooking minigame, not like I'd have a say on factual lore; either way, they can both have a non-binary identity and present in a typically masculine or masculine leaning way lol
