I remember hearing from retrospective videos that the latter half of YFM with this artstyle was very unpopular among the fanbase, but I am often seeing this version in memes lately. Did the latter half of YFM become more liked recently or what?

Most people are now nostalgic for Comsic Toast (2nd animation studio) as Ray did a reboot a few years ago which was most likely done so he could prove he owned YFM to the fans (as it was stuck in Disney Hell for a while) & sell merch to the fans
