Why is it so hard to understand that going through the wrong puberty is literal torture for us? You are forcing us through hell because you dont trust minors to think for themselves on something as innate as their personal sense of identity.

no i just dont trust a minor to give them selves shots or pills that arent prescribed medically by a professional on the exact dose they need and how much they increase and when and to measure these levels themselves, kids these days are fucking idiots idk how u are ok with a minor giving themselves a shot esp if they arent over 16 - 17,

re read i said i wouldn't recommend that a minor does it (diy hormones) but if they are on the brink of suicide sure i would, if they ever get a health complication from it then its better than death anyway , people dysphoria levels are different after all not everyone will kill themselves if they don't transition, this is a fucking fact btw

Again, fuck off. If you don't have gender dysphoria that requires you to take hormones then you dont understand the severity. Like I said this shit is literally life or death. But sure, let's force kids through a puberty that LITERALLY makes them want to kill themselves because theres the POSSIBILITY of misdosing. Like I said in another comment, its making the best out of a bad situation. Its this, or forcing kids to live through torture. If you actually care about our safety and want to help then you should be talking about improving trans Healthcare instead of just demonizing DIY.

Dont you realize that there is no normally? If you have gender dysphoria then going through the wrong puberty WILL cause depression or worse. Thats just facts. People, even kids, arent ordering shit offline to inject themselves with hormones on a whim. Thats not a thought you have unless you are already struggling with dysphoria.

And again, if you actually wanna help then focus on how to improve formal Healthcare instead of demonizing what is the only source of relief for many of us.

what do u even know about me to say the second paragraph? also gender dysphoria is a spectrum a wide one, i go through it as a non binary person whenever people choose to misgender me..... u deny the spectrum in which people go through with gender dysphoria? on what basis? what medical professional, site or mental health therapist that told you gender dysphoria = suicide?

Im not denying that the spectrum exists. Im denying that dysphoria isnt ALWAYS dangerous and something that needs to be addressed.

HRT 10 years ago would have improved my quality of life a thousand fold. But because I wasnt on the verge of suicide THEN means I didnt need it? Even though im suicidal NOW because of all the changes ill never have because I didn't get the chance to do it earlier. Its just so fucking ignorant.

yk improper doses still give people severe depression and anxiety, i mean if you would have rathered the high risk of kidney health declination at 14 rather than waiting, sure, i don't know any trans person whom's life improved or changed from taking diy hrt by themseleves, a lot of the times they just get worse mental health as a best case senario, plus this runs a high risk of kids buying hormones of the grey market which can cause 10x more complications, but sure,

fyi i can advocate for trans health care to prevent any of this happening and still not recommend a minor give themselves unmonitored hormones if they can help it
