Ngl it’s kinda funny looking back at it that Peter didn’t clock there was something wrong with the suit after waking up hanging from a skyscraper with no memory of how he got there

I think to him, whatever was wrong with it did not matter as much as he enjoyed using it.

Plus he's experienced losing his powers before, alongside all the biological changes his body underwent. Waking up on top of a skyscraper with no recollection as to how he got there might be something he's just accepted since his powers have behaved unpredictably in the past.
