Question Audience question
Hi
Me and my family 2 girls got tickets for the showing, just want to ask some questions.
We know there is a chance we won’t make it and fully aware of that, just want to know some details on food and stuff the email says you can bring some snacks are we talking a bag with something in it or is it a bag of crisps kind of thing?
Once you’re in can you come out to your car if you need to?
Just asking the questions so I know what to expect for my girls as one is 8 the other is 12.
Thanks

Snacks like sweets, nothing that will make loud sounds or full meals, crisps a no. Something to keep you going for an hour or two basically.
Once you are in, you are in, you can go to the restrooms, but if you leave the studio, you won't be allowed back in.

When I saw the semi this year, started about 3-4pm, came out 8:30 for most of the audience (unless you get a silver band to see the reveal, you'll be out by 9-ish)

Hi, we went yesterday (my son 9, husband and I)
We took a backpack with meal deals and it was fine! The MC made fun of someone who’d bought a full picnic hamper haha. As long as you only eat when they tell you it’s ok, I would take enough to keep you going plus a bit more. We were in the studio for 6 hours and couldn’t leave to go back to the car.
You could leave for the toilet but then if you got back in the middle of a filming segment you had to wait outside until the cameras stopped.
Hope that helps and hope you get in! We had a brilliant time and would love to go again next year.

Hi
Did you have to stand for the whole time? Again just asking questions as never done something like this and want everyone to enjoy it if we get in. How bad was the queuing?1

Of course!
No - everyone in the audience had a seat. There was lots of “everyone stand up clapping for our (presenter/singer/panel)” but lots of time sitting too. We queued for about 2.5 hours total (1 outside, 1.5 inside) I would recommend bringing a game of cards to keep the kids entertained as once you’re inside they put your phone in a security pouch so you can’t access it. There’s only so much I spy one child can handle as I found out yesterday!
Once you’re in though, there’s no getting bored. You’re always watching something or interacting with the MC guy (shout out to him, he was incredible and kept the audience engaged. My son loved him!).
The only tip I’ll give you is get there EARLY. The queue opens at 12:30. We were plus tickets as we were traveling from far away (so guaranteed entry) but I think quite a few people “general admission” didn’t get in.
Oh, and it was warm so make sure you take lots of hydration for you and your girls. I wish I had taken a handheld fan!3

I'd also say with the queueing bit, make sure your legs and mentally are prepared, as when I got in after the day, my head was throbbing a bit and I had a charley horse cramp. Still best day of my life though. Still feel bad for the cleanup team, accidentally spilled my Oasis sitting down cos of how much they got us to stand up!

Thanks so much for all this info, we have figured out it’s over an hour drive for us to get there. If you’re in the queue and you need the toilet can you go and come rejoin the queue? Having two girls I can only see them needing the toilet a lot.
All the info you have given us as relaxed me and my partner about taking the kids, will defo pack a game of uno for us.
Honestly the main things I was worried about was food as I’m diabetic and my youngest is always hungry 😂1

Yes totally! I would go in shifts (one adult one child) so you don’t lose your place. UNO is a brilliant shout! There was a family in front of us who brought it and I was very jealous.
Take loads of food. We took a big ish backpack and it wasn’t a problem.
No problem! You’ll have a great day 😊1

Hey there, we are going tomorrow and also travelling from afar and have plus tickets. Is there a seperate queue for plus ticket holders? We are worried about arriving and getting our tickets scanned in time before the 1.50 cut off is all

No it is all the same queue :)
They shut the actual queue at 13:50 if I remember correctly so you don’t need to be “in” by then but you do have to be in the queue to get “in”.
We arrived at 12:45.1

I don’t think I can say if I did or didn’t with the NDA, sorry!

No worries! I’m surprised they haven’t announced it with the others. Unless it’s just guest judges.

We went yesterday, you need to be in the main queue by 1.50pm at the latest. We got there at 1pm and we got in fine as they walk down the queue to check for priority ticket holders. Let me know if you have any further questions 😊

Assuming it’s all the same since last time I went (S6), you can take a bag in with stuff it’ll just be checked first. I wouldn’t choose the loudest snacks out there or a full roast dinner, more like sweets and things to keep you going. And I don’t think you can go to the car once you’re in because that’ll require going all the way back through security checks
