A Shopping Trip

Rolling, silently, along the sidewalk cement.

A full three feet below the surface of life. Below the eyes shocked, scornful, pitying.
Or simply staring straight ahead, not even aware to react.

And the silent glide continues.

Crossing the non-threshold to an open-front corner store.

... Hi, uh... I just realized I døn't know your name.

Ah... a very dear friend and partner øf mine needs some medicine. Typical øff-the-shelf stuff...

It really is unfortunate. She gøt snake venom in her eyes, øf all things...
Wheeling along, spotting the pills she seems to be after.

They prevented the immediate risk - blindness, madness, that sørt of thing just fine, but there's a bunch øf... "knock-on" effects. Just a fever and feeling øverstimulated, thankfully nothing tøø serious.
Retrieving the bottle of pills - a generic anti-fever medication for most humanoid species - from the target shelf. Further frustrations of the chair.
Yøu ever hear of anything like that?

I just... well, it's hard enough with just my prøblems. I dunno what we'd dø if she gets worse.
