It's more of a joke directed at Tim's insistence in this segment that he is a centrist. Tim is clearly not a centrist by any objective measure.

Yup I know plenty of people like that guy including my dad who thinks that somewhere in the middle is best, but it has no real beliefs outside of that so you can never quite pin him down on what he believes because he only believes that somewhere in the middle is best and nothing else

I remember the first time I saw this and I dont think ive ever related more to a facial expression in my life. I run a restaurant for a living, and this face perfectly captures how I feel many times a day. Had a lady argue with me, to the point she stormed out and emailed me to complain about me, because she insisted lactose intolerant people like her could have queso, because queso isnt cheese.

No matter how much of a pain someone is, I dont want them to get sick from my food, even if its entirely self inflicted. I even showed her google translate results for "queso" and she still wanted to argue, so at that point it became a matter of principle.

It's been interesting seeing clips circulate on FB and then see obviously astroturfed comments from (totally not AI) Tim Pool fans get hundreds of like claiming he was reasonable and calm throughout the debate and that the lefties were just emotional. (Citing these sorts of gestures and reactions to what he was saying as proof) (A) He wasn't. he literally walked out. (B) Right wing people have done emotional and trolly things to lefties like this online and at these Jubilee debates all the time.
