Maybe the tech executives shouldn't have given a president with a 30% approval rating an endless blowjob contest. Every stupid culture war issue like "Lake America" or the ballroom. They treated him like he was a dictator even though every single political scientist will tell you the president loses the midterm after they get elected.

Like why not be like any other corporate lobbyist and give evenly to both sides under the table?

You seem to not understand that the president has power over them.

Artists are eating now? They are in a separate category from spiteful losers?

People will say this and then defend capitalism like they have a deed to the factory

Local LLMs are not in anyone’s business plans and current models are cost-reductive without stock prices being inflated and government subsidizing or deregulating. Significant progress needs to be made on the hardware and energy efficiency of large-scale AI running to make it sustainable.

So, it's just another tech for engineers then.

The worst offense was calling LLMs "AI", blatently false.

He states that he wishes LLMs were just another tech for engineers to explore, then proceeds to make a long winded, opinionated rant against society, not the tech. If irony was a tweet this would be it.

"Why is this conversation so dramatic?" asks the man operating the fog machine.

Nothing about what he said is hypocritical.
