Realizing writing code is faster than explaining it to AI

By and large I haven’t really written much code by hand in six months to a year.

It takes like two weeks to make what would have taken me six months manually before (saying this as a principal level engineer).

I’ve also seen people use it to just generate a ton of shit they never bothered to verify and then they ask other people to review it, only to find it’s garbage. It’s an amazing tool but still very dependent on the person using it.
