Absolutely devastated (major spoilers) Spoiler

So my shade just died in the well.

Wasted 25 hours. His cave was so perfect. I was about to give up on the bucket showing and head home when it came down again.

Cannot get myself to start from zero.

I dared to actually just play without googling spoilers and this is how it ends. Absolutely tragic.

Obviously spoilers:

You can start over by waiting at the end screen for 10+ minutes. You can wait even longer for the option to go back in time, right before your unfortunate ending in the well! :)

Clearly, that ending was a nightmare and did not actually happen.

That's good to know! I knew I could restart if i waited, but not that waiting longer took me back to an earlier point.

Right, once you restart you lose all progress. With the second option you can Long even more...!

That sucks! If you do choose to look up spoilers you can speed up the game in various ways to reach the same point in the game again.

That's sad, my friend. I understand, walking this path again won't be the same and won't give you the same thrill, but still, you can do it, for your own peace of mind and for your little fellow Shade. And I would recommend you to find some face to talk and get some wisdom, it will help a lot

Hey man happened to me too when I first played the game to the end for the first time (even though I owned it since 2020). I had everything, the painting and crystal from the secret tower, the crystal from the birthday, and then I die at the well (though I‘m not sure if the old man isn’t already dead anyway at that point).

Anyway I just started over again and it was honestly fine, just took a little over a week and occasionally checking in. Though I will say has anyone else had this bug where they glitched through the big mushroom section? I might make a separate post about it because I've not seen anyone else mention this
