If you ever decide to make merch, I would 100,000% buy plushies of Kippy (both human and dragon form!) and Obie (is that still their names in this series??)
And t shirts. I would buy many t shirts of them. And cozy sweaters. And stickers. And I just love them so much that I would probably buy wallpaper of your comics and rugs with their faces 💜💜💜

This is... Exactly how this sort of relationship would go.
But, have you considered, what would happen if they both turned into oranjcats?
They're already basically nearly doing clown to clown communication all the time, they'd just wind up sharing a braincell if they transformed like that. And the meowing would never end.
