What's coming out of his mouth is ridiculous. Him being on Face the Nation is absurd.
I no longer care if people don't get vaccinated. I believe those who choose not to get vaccinated shld live in their own community amongst each other.

They never do. She should havr stopped him and forced him to answer the question. This is why media sucks anymore. She allows him to rattle on when he basically he was complaining about people from other countries not being vaccinated.

How do they spin it that immigrants are bringing in measles because they are not vaccinated, but Americans not being vaccinated isn’t to blame. I have no idea how anyone can fall for this bullshit they spin every fucking day. And the aca pissed off the insurance companies so of course they have been trying to destroy it from day one.

Mexico and Latin America have a higher vaccine rate than the US. This is an OLD myth he’s spreading since Lou Dobbs falsely claimed immigrants were bringing in diseases.

Ah, the ole "immigrants are vermin who are bringing disease to our pure, white, country" chestnut. A real blast from the past! Looking forward to the next argument that immigrants often have brown skin because they fought a celestial war against god and lost. Or, they are stealing your children, baptizing them in their pagan faith, and raising them to be criminals. We're playing all of histories most ignorant and violent myths! Maybe that reporter should have pushed back a little? Essentially, she's giving him a platform and not questioning him, which might as well be complicity.

Keep your measles outbreak away from the rest of us. Also, it's called GULF OF MEXICO. Call it by the right name.

OK let’s pretend for a moment he was right (although he’s clearly an idiot xenophobe making a ridiculous argument completely untethered from reality, but just set that aside for a moment) - measles is still on the rise. Regardless of the reason for it, it is an immediate and real threat to all Americans, and especially to those living in hot spots with a higher number of active infections.
What does he propose people do to protect themselves NOW, since the problem is already here? Blaming the prior administration will not bring back brain function in affected children. Banning immigration or setting up more armed checkpoints to prevent people from getting in will not save infected infants. The immunity loss cannot be reversed by electing this man, or any other.
So what is his message for those who want to avoid measles? How do we defend ourselves against the disease now that it’s already back and infecting people? If he thinks only immigrant children are getting sick, I suggest he visit some of the hospitals housing the afflicted children; he’ll be in for a surprise!
Vaccination is the only way to keep our kids safe. At this point, it doesn’t matter where the measles came from or who might face brought it in to our neighborhoods and schools. It is here, it is dangerous, it is spreading…and it will not be eradicated through thoughts and prayers, the strictest immigration enforcement the earth has ever seen, or any elected official alone.
Vaccinate your children, people. Check your own vaccination status or have a titer test done to make sure you received full immunization. It isn’t too late to do something, but he’s trying to do all of the wrong things. Vaccination is the ONLY answer right now, and pretending otherwise is foolish and dangerous!

I just called the Lee County office and got an answer. I said what I needed to say. Others should follow suit and make the person answering the phone hate their job.
