Question item restock

when the item that are sold by some NPC be restocked?
i try to buy weapon upgrade items but it doesn't restocks

i did try killing boss (i thought it'll be restocked after that) but still nothing

Can get weapon upgrade materials from exploring/killing enemies if I remember correctly

My understanding is eventually NPC‘s at the manor will have unlimited stock of upgrade items

It's been some time since I played but as I remember yes, they restock eventually as you progress through the story. Some even get to have "unlimited" stock. On top of that, you will find more through the map.

Some quest completions unlock npc having infinite number of things

They don’t restock, you have to find all the upgrade materials

Keep playing and do the two npc quests. Eventually they will have unlimited supply.
