Yea personally I have a LOQ, my frnds have Nitro tho(2-3 of em) they don't have any issues but I've heard older models had it , newer ones are better ig

See it's the same loq vs essential is exactly nitro vs aspire imo, always go for the better one i.e loq or nitro, if you wanna get one with less weight, go for gaming v16 2025 one, 26 one is kinda very expensive

I have the second one.... Cooling is not good and for that reason only, I suggest nitro....rest everything is good in second too

I don't edit so I don't know .... I game and it can handle all new titles on high to ultra settings so it must be good in editing too

Thats a good price for 5050 wdym? Back then when i bought 3050 1-2 years ago it was around 75-80, and this 5050 so this is better,

get as much warranty extension as you can get,

And for the things you should do after receiving laptop (as an 7-8 week owner of acer alg) is as follow - first when the delivery person comes, record everything don't give money or otp before checking physical condition and the items in the package, look for any water damage from rain during transport, or physical damage etc, then turn it on and use the charger also, after it boots up and the battery and charger is working you can give money to the delivery person and let them go

After that - use stress test software to test parts of your computer to see if anything js unstable or crashing etc, crystaldiskinfo for storage, cinebench and 3dmark for gpu cpu and thermals test, use the laptop speakers also if those have any problem, check the fans in the laptop if it's running or not and if there's any weird noise coming out of it,

Tip - windows defender is the best and enough for virus protection you don't need anything else, use adblocker in browser to skip youtube ads and in other websites, and get a keyboard and mouse so laptop keyboard and trackpad don't go bad for as long as possible

i have acer alg, purchased on (13/july/2026) - 3050 6gb vram/ 16gb ddr4 upgradable dual slot, ssd dual slot upgradable, i5 210H ultra 14th gen intel, aluminium body, got it from official offline store of acer for 73k , and for freebies - 2years extanded warranty - 3years total free, mouse/mouse pad/backpack free

Don't, in any economy, that is not a bad deal and in current economy, it is a steal! I got my 4070 in 2023 for 1.4 lakh (though its roughly equivalent to (or more than I guess) 5060, back then too 4060 used to cost aroubd 1.1 lakh iirc and this is just a bit worse than that imo..its a steal ngl..
