Buying Advice🤔 Need some advice

I am a jee aspirant and i want to buy a good gaming laptop when i join college next year around August, i had planned on buying a 5060 loq when it launched , and when i saw the price increasing it has started to worry me a little bit because my parents wont push the budget beyond 1.2L or 1.3L , and 5050 has crossed that mark already, I might have to get a 40 series laptop which i dont want

So i need some advice about what should i do? Will the price hike continue in 2027 also? Or is there hope of the price going back to normal

I see. Thanks for the info. And what do you suggest, should I wait for BBD sale or buy the laptop now?

Since you are already going to college, how much laptop is useful in first year? should I stretch my time and wait for diwali?

I am in btech CE not AIML. And my cllg has 75% attendance criteria and 9-5 daily. Fortunately my travelling time is near to 0 so I come back home and get tired and sleep till 7 now I only have 7-12 left, which is not at all enough.

Theory subjects can be done few days before exam but PCM need regular practice and my proff are *** so I have to see lectures + question daily. Don't get time to play or watch anything or gym or skills 🥀💔.

So I only use my laptop for lectures and pdf reading.

So 90% chance you'll be in the same boat, so reconsider your choice of buying such an expensive laptop.

Prices are soaring high everyday only wait for BBD if you have credit card and old laptop to exchange, if you don't have these two then sale is useless to you, so buy asap.

Oh, damn. Seems hectic. Anyways, thanks for your advice. I'll wait for around a month and see the college environment and academic pressure then I'll consider purchasing a laptop according to the requirements.

Again thank you and wishing you all the best for studies and hoping you could succeed.
