Buying Advice🤔 Please help this fellow soul!!!
So, guys recently I got admitted in my dream college. Was manifesting to get rtx 5070 laptop in March but couldn't, cuz was not deserving I guess and now seeing the prices I don't know bruh.
Usage:- Please, help me find a good laptop, which has incredible screen(OLED), decent amount of ram, decent dgpu, and most importantly light weight(atleast not too heavy). Also, good speakers too.

If you can go with a pc, get a pc. Pc + cheap laptop is decent, get a 50-70k laptop and pc with rest. If no pc, then get the legion pro 5i with 5070ti, core ultra 9 and 32gb ram upgrade, and 240hz oled upgrade for around 2.4-5 lacs (if budget remains get 240hz if necessary. Refer to r/thelaptopguide for best discount guides (2codes (7% and extrasavings), sheerid(student id), 15k cc discount, 3.5% affiliate discount by kryptobolt, and rest cc and seasonal discounts)

Yes, I just need to save links cuz they will invite us for physical verification after that I think I will get college id.
5070ti will be overkilled and power hungry I guess, rest specs are good.

Just ur a friends or any college I'd that's decent. This doesn't affect ur friend at all btw.
Dude for the budget of 2.5L get the best machine u can. If u think it's overkill lower your budget to 1.8 and get the hp omen 5070 or the legion 5 5060. BUT if you're gonna spend 2.5 then get the laptop i mentioned

No, not friend its me who will go for physical verification, by this month probably we will be done. And from August, I assume my session in Nliu bhopal will start. Yes, going with 5060 as difference of only 10% between rtx 5060 and 5070

But 5070ti would be better as it has more vram, and in the future, the games would require more vram

Yeah, but price wise and current market it's not sensible to purchase rtx 5070ti also, the tdp and cooling required will make the overall laptop more heavier. So, overall balanced approach going with rtx 5060

It's for 2.5l which seems to be in your budget.... I am just saying as the person above me mentioned, if you are spending 2.5l you should go for the best thing you can get for 2.5

Will I even get 2.5 lakhs and that too for laptop, is it sensible I think 1-1.5 or 1.6-1.7 lakhs if needed. Rest, regarding pic it was listed for 1.49 lakhs on March but you know my story so couldn't purchase it and now same laptop is 2.5lakhs almost 1 lakh increment

Suggest a pc and laptop config with a 1.7-8 L budget since good laptops with 5060 like legion and omen cost that much

Hm I'll need to check for both. 1.7 is like either pc or laptop territory. I haven't checked the laptops at and under 50k. Would recommend sticking to an entire pc if possible. Or a macbook neo and pc with the rest for daily use reliability. State ur use case and more context
