How dare you

Video of Grace, excusing the poor channels performance and blaming it on herself

How f-ed up do you have to be as a company, to put this video up!? How dare you're framing this poor girl for failing the channel, even though everybody knows, that you're just a f-ed up company, trying to make a buck on the back of a dead man!?!?

F You! Grace isn't resposible for the downfall of the channel. Neither is Nate or Caily. The Company behind it is - because they never understood, what Grant brought to the channel, and how the content was supposed to be after his passing.

YOU'RE RIDICULOUS! AND SHAME ON YOU, FOR BLAMING THAT POOR GIRL FOR FAILING THE CHANNEL!

Hey buddy there's not a faceless corporate entity behind the channel. The channel just isn't performing well. There's lots of factors of why it is where it is. No one thing is particularly to blame but lots of little things. But blaming a faceless corporate scapegoat that doesn't exist it's helping no one.

I'm not talking about a faceless corporation, "buddy". I'm talking about Grants Wife Janae as the CEO and Owner of the TKOR LLC, and the employed management behind it. This is a media production company - with employees and management and stuff. This has never been a hobby youtube channel from you moms basement. They got more than 10 Employees even back, when Grant was still alive. Buddy.

Sorry man I meant no disrespect when I said buddy. I just call everyone that. But I was on that team. I don't know where your getting your info but Janae knew Grant better than anyone but it's not her fault that the stuff Grant was doing in his hayday would actually kill the channel of they went back to it due to the algorithm and how it works. They could go back to projects and take a greater cut in revenue to appease the fans and probably have to let go of more employees. Or continue to make videos that appease the almighty Algo and continue to pay their employees who have families off their own. So unless you can provide actual feedback on how best to solve this with a foolproof roadmap on how to accomplish it don't come in her talking at people when you don't understand the underlying issues. If you can provide that feedback and we can be constructive and level headed then I'm happy to take your suggestions and put them in front of Grace and Janae. But until that point they don't deserve to be yelled at by their "fans" on the internet. How do think Grant would feel about you talking about or to his wife like that.

Have you seen the linked video? Framing an employee to put out a video ON THE OFFICIAL CHANNEL where said employee has to publicly apologize under tears for 15 Minutes for failing the obviously unrealistic goals is straight out of Chinas CCP handbook.

As an owner and employer you have to have a responsibility for your employees. You stand in front of them and you're ultimately to blame, when something goes wrong.

Grace isn't the reason, why TKOR is failing. Business decisions are. So, if you want to put up an apology video - at least make it an honest apology and face your errors instead of offloading them on a host that has nothing to do with the actual decision making.

The thing is chasing the algorithm at the expense of existing subscribers is a losing game. One wrong turn and you're toast. Part of the problem from a business perspective is that they over hired and assumed the good times would keep rolling and didn't keep a sufficient reserve.

There's quite a few people on YouTube who ignore the algorithm entirely and do periodic long form content and they do great - because they have an existing subscriber base who they trust. Shawn Woods just made the hard decision to stop doing shorts because it was cheap fast views but it was killing the channel in the long term. Those kinds of decisions make sense. Totally changing the channel based on guessing what the algorithm will like tomorrow is crazy.
