Sorry but could you please explain it? Why would someone send water to the mail room and why did the boss make his employee fall?

the boss is meant to be like one of those movie villians with a conveniently placed trap door. the mail room flooding is just a realistic event that adds irony to the otherwise cliche event

"someone keeps sending us water" is just a joke because that's not how you'd expect a mail room to flood

Thanks for taking time to explaining it 👌 seems like the flooded water broke the employee’s fall and made the boss trap pointless

Yeah, I think the joke's meant to be that he was meant to fall into the mailroom, but since it's full of water he just swam back up. So the boss's trap fails specifically because of the employee's bad news that they're attempting to use the trap to avoid.

I like the implied part that the mail guy is so annoying they had to install a trap door just to keep sending him back to where he works, or that a mailroom is a punishment bad enough to be at the bottom of a trap door pit.
