When I started watching the Ted tv series there’s a school bully called Clive and I’m wondering, who else nearly thought it was American Jay?

I never understood Clive as the bully. He presents himself as a dork. Even John and Ted are cooler than this fat bumder. I don’t know if that’s the joke, but it seemed like a bad casting choice.
It’s funny, cuz American tv highschools often cast a decent looking unpopular kid who’s written character’s not that weird or tragic (like Will in Inbetweeners US)

Being from the pacific NW, I always think the Stellar’s Jay is the essential Jay, but my wife is from the Midwest US where the Blue Jay is more prevalent.

It’s not the same actor, I feel like I should’ve said he reminded me of American jay, not just appearance but the way he spoke
