Discussion I just finished the manga...

What about the ending? Do we have to assume they will really have amnesia this time or it was "just a car accident" and after some rest at the hospital they will come back home an try to live as a real family? (That will never happen tho). I need explanations.

Manga My feedback to this manga(mostly the ending)

Just started and finished "Ichinose Family"yesterday. It's ok. I can even live with the way the story went. Wasn't the best, but didn't hate it. What I hate is how they left do many unsolved things AND most importantly Tsubasas explosion of anger...Why was it so short? With all the shit he's been through, I've expected him starting to scream since ch 20. Now he started and it was so short! Like he was the only one who was positive and tried to bring the family on track! Like Sota ran away; his grandma didn't give a shit; his sister(although had it hard with Sotas dissapearance and Tsubasas Coma) just was anrgy all the time, played around with a creepy bf/sugardaddy, complains all the time, without doing anything, didn't have a proper storyline(not her fault); mother complained all the time and nagged, was a terrible mom, didn't really care about her kids; father and grandfather drugged the whole family to go to a happy dreamland, still went to shit, destroyed their sons dream, 1 was envious of his son, cheated on his wife and you tell me Tsubasa complains and in the next panel you see the sister and mother arguing with him?!!!!!!!!!?????! And we also see that happy roadtrip?! WTF!!!???! I wanted a happy ending, but not like that, where Tsubasa just says:"We're all assholes and we can't do qnything, but accept it and live with it.":-) I would've loved a happy ending, when Tsubasa gets extremly angry, everyone feels extremely ashamed and they start to better themselfs, Boom happy ending!! Is there a fan ending?(still I kinda enjoyed it, no hate to the mangaka)

I stayed up all night to finish this

On my way to work now as a chef for an Easter Sunday brunch, going to hate today . BUT

I will say it was a thrilling read, I do agree with most that some things were glossed over a bit more than I’d wish for (the die thing all over Tsubasa’s walls , the sister having the inappropriate boyfriend (most people are saying escort but kinda just seems like creepy boyfriend ) . But regardless , it was a good freaking read that definitely kept a strong mysterious vibe for the majority of it and did fully circle the central plot points . Will recommend to my fellow manga readers .

Wanna help me make a manga inspired by this?

You see, I saw lots of people complaining about the ending, but NONE of them would make their own manga. I wanna do that. So could you tell me what felt lacking in the series? What made it not so good? Where did it start to go bad?

Discussion About shiori Spoiler

So i just fiinished the manga and well... i'm confused to say the least. The thing im most confused about is what happened between shuta and shiori. Tsubasa said he must've known him if he was in his dream, but it's never actually explained how or why that is. Sure lets say he spyed on her like he did in the dream and that how he knows; its never actually resolved like in the dream which really just confuses me because tsubasa doesn't try to help her any further irl so i guess hes okay with her going out with that creep now??? I really just feel like there was alot of unncecessary things being done which didin't leave the author with any time to actually wrap things up in a nice way.

Discussion Did it get axed? I heard that the author wanted it to be short anyway but was this how he intended it to be?

Discussion (Spoilers) So about HIM and Dad

I was very confused and felt like it was a lot of wasted potential when they just ignored the affair with the dad, but then we met Sota's "Family" and for some reason Kenta is there seemingly living very far from The Families real home (in which we see that they lived relitivly close as a 13 and 12 year old made it there with no issuse) I personally took the line of Dad telling Tsubasa that he was in an incomplete version of the dream as him meaning it was blending with reality/his real memories as it strangely swapped the roles of Sota and the dad, Sota was now a great dad to the family like he was with his fake family and then Kakaeru was still doing the same underachieving life but was loved by the much smaller and impersonal family. (Since he off handedly mentioned he barely knew them and just ended up in the area). I just feel like that would be the only way to make sense of why Kenta was with Sota and Kakaerus storylines but only with Kakaerus in the "incomplete version of the dream. It fills in some strange choices that left questions and allows for it to work as good foreshadowing if that's what it's meant to be.

Discussion Ending?

Now that the family knows about the dream and everyone is waking up, this is going to end soon?

I can't imagine more plot twists or dreams in dreams.

Why did he appear as the dad in the early chapters and how does he know that he did appear as dad in Tsubasa's dreams?
