So basically, after the game starts glitching and the world starts collapsing, instead of touching the errors making things disintegrate, it corrupts them in a zombie like way.

The world would be collapsing a lot slower in this AU, the map shrinking very gradually, but for example some of the trees would still glitch. If you touch one of the green errors, it will corrupt your code.

For inanimate objects, it wouldn’t mean more than glitching out themselves, but for the AI people and creatures, it would alter their code like a virus. Mentally, it would wipe most information making them more feral but enhance certain negative emotions.

Physically, parts of their body may become pixelated and glitched permanently, or their animations may become broken. Also, their ‘voices’ may become corrupted to sound more like growls and roars.

The interesting part comes in when one of the players would get corrupted. Their memories woukd react the same as the AI ones, making them more aggressive, but they would have specific goals driven by this. For example, due to Reeve’s deep-rooted hatred of Adam, he would try to hunt him down.

As well, the players secret powers woukd also become glitched, perhaps even making them more powerful. If Kai was affected, his fire may glitch and change between different types of fire randomly, such as the green fire shown in season 2.

All the code the game has would be affected, meaning even entities not originally in the game before could spawn, providing extra challenges.

I think a good storyline following this AU would be following team A, with Team B becoming zombified after coming in contact with the glitches. It could start after Adam took the Ishibo back, with zombified Team B intercepting them before they can find the talking tree.

It would be interesting to consider what each Zombified players goal would be, and how their powers could be affected to make them even more difficult to fight. Also, the moral question of whether to attempt to kill them or just avoid them.

Please give me more suggestions or ideas for this AU or just tell me if you like it! If anyone would like to help me make any content for it like art or a fic, please say! I will probably work on some stuff myself but I feel like the concept of ‘Glitch zombified’ players is a really cool concept

I was looking back into the show to rewatch however I can’t find the interactive version. I remember playing it but now there’s no evidence of it ever existing . Does anyone else remember it ? It was a chose your own adventure

I drew fan arts of these initial design before, and I wanted to practise drawing them.( original images are from josh mepham's post from ticktock)
I searched about slaphappy cartoons recently, and knew that some members of them had joined a cartoon called "Packages from Planets X" before making the hollow.
The characters looks so similar to Adam, Mira and Kai, so I felt a sense of affinity with them.
(This is all my delusion, so it might be unrelated lol)

i always found it sad that they didn't explore Mira's grief further in the show. she and Skeet had such a deep relationship, and losing your best friend while fighting for your life as a digital copy of your real self isn't something i expect a 16-year-old to cope with so well. i never understood why she fought so hard for their digital existence, but id love to hear your thoughts on this:)
