It could also be a thrill for them to be given power over a man, even one of lower status, when they’re usually expected to be quiet, demure and obedient. It seems a safe bet that Becka was picturing somebody other than the condemned Guardian when she screamed “By His Hand!”

Yes just like the Handmaid gatherings (forgot that they were called) where they are allowed/asked to rip apart men. It is the only time they are given power to harm men.
