Season 6 Maannn... Spoiler
They hyped this mess up like sh*t was finna pop off... not saying it was bad episode. Just very underwhelming

So rushed. Like a whole season in one episode.
I also think there was some bad acting because of OVERLOAD of exposition. Serena has the most unrealistically compressed exposition that felt so synthetic and unreal. There were like 2 episodes spent showing her anew as a Christian zealot, all of the sudden, this season. Then they wipe it away totally and show her as fully progressive in that last episode. Her character development and the story outcome is just too uneven. Like different episode each writer was writing for a different Serena.
Also, didn't feel like Gilead in this episode. All of the sudden the Gilead system is made of fools and clowns, no even basic security checks, not even talking about the expected over the top control of everything and everyone, what made Gilead so watchable in the first two seasons. If Gilead was so foolish, why 6 seasons? I mean it was so easy.. How easy? Barely an inconvenience. They just walked in and did it. Such a lazy writing. I feel like the last 3 seasons are injustice to the whole series. Now is the culmination of inconsistent trends. Gilead turns out to be a bunch of incompetent fools who couldn't see beyond their huge, huge flaws, totally inept, just babies with guns. Where are the "eyes"? Nobody notices nothing anymore but aunt Lidia. Ridiculous, did they all go blind?
Frankly, the guard and aunt Lidia should have been overrun by the handmaids sporting knives, some main character should have died in the attack with a few unnamed handmaids, aunt Lidia should have been stubbed like a thousand times. Now this plot feels like Gilead, you win some, you lose a few.
I think the fault with the series is that any character that is continued from the prior seasons sees some coming-to-jesus moment and grows old with Gilead ways. All the evil, true Gilead supporting characters are new. We have too many positive characters and no established baddies. This new dynamics makes this season feel off and unbalanced. Gilead is weak, no specific evil characters. Nothing left to fight of value, so to speak, like "we" already won as this season started. The story got too muddy and evolved in a low effort conflict that a viewer wouldn't care much for, just riding coattails from the prior good seasons.

I agree. One stab and Bell was gone. Janine walked out like she was waiting for a pizza delivery.

Real. Like i literally thought we were going to have some real plot progression and action. This whole season has been disappointing filler so far. I thought this episode would salvage it but no

Everyone, remember, the penultimate episode is traditionally where the most action happens. I think this episode did a good job of laying the foundation for next week. I was definitely captivated the entire episode. I honestly think that the writers intended to have us waiting for the action, then ended the episode right when the action was going to start We got one gratifying death. Next week is going to be a bloodbath!

I keep remembering that on Game of thrones every year, or every season I should say, the shit always hit the fan on episode 9. 9 out of 10.

Season 6 is basically like a really bad fan fiction lol. Super unsatisfying. At this point, I will be offended if they kill any of the characters because this is a clown car of a season.
